I loved delightful breakfast, wonderful views.
Actually everything was fantastic, my next choice again in Ulverston. The place was fairly clean and wonderful, had very very helpful staff from owner to chambermaid. Its magnificent, remote location was a plus. The bed was comfortable, the room was pet-friendly and well-appointed: )

Super cozy stay!
We had such a nice time! The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was a highlight, with loads of tasty options to pick from. Loved chilling in the bar area too! Just wish the place had a bit more space in the dining area since it felt crowded sometimes.

The homemade shortbread was delicious and a good treat.
The rooms desperately need some TLC as they appeared a bit tired.

We visited the Buddhist Temple for a peaceful day and enjoyed great walks nearby. The staff were so cute, and the breakfast was unbeatable! Definitely a perfect spot for a group getaway.
One small letdown was the large menu. It made choosing a dish quite tough.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The fine views of Morecambe Bay captivated me, and the dining experience exceeded my expectations with its high quality. A little confusion with the menu variety made choices challenging, but it didn’t overshadow the wonderful experience overall.

We loved the comfy rooms with sea views and enjoyed the morning walks along the canal. Fishing lakes and a nearby Buddhist Temple were perfect. Their breakfast is totally filling, and the staff were super friendly. If you're after an English getaway, this place is a must!
We didn't get to complete the Ulverston Canal walk as the weather turned, disappointing.
